About me:
My name is Troels W. Hansen and I live in Copenhagen, Denmark. I'm born in 1971 and I have served for many years in The Royal Danish Navy. 5 years at the naval academy and another 5 years in active duty as navigational officer and executive officer onboard WILLEMOES-Class and FLYVEFISKEN-Class Fast Patrol Boats. I retired from the navy in 2001. Since then I have among many things been constructed different kind of visual productions - this project is solely made of non-commercial interest.

The Warspite project:
I made the warspite model and the first version of the site in 2005. That version including the not-completed description of the battle of Jutland and is available here. In may 2009 I released this upgraded version of the site which include some new descriptions and 3D renderings.

The main source of knowledge of the ship is from Ross Watton's excellent book in the "Anatomy of the ship" series.

Software used is mainly 3D Studio Max, Vue D'Esprit and Photoshop together with some web-development software.
